Removing object from map

hello everybody,

I can't find an answer to quite simple question. At least I think it is simple :)

Situation: I have  map with preset objects in it and want to get rid off of one of them.
Question: Is there a way to remove map object in script, i.e. by using it's ID?

sadly not. only objects placed in the editor can be moved around.  :-\
