Riot Police

I would like someone to create riot police, with a lexan shield and visor and other random bits of armour. Perhaps a baton or shock rod would make a nice addition as well. I believe this would make a nice complement to Gimbals "Civilian Tossers" addon.

I've seen SWAT addons, with riot guys with shotguns and MP5's, but I have never seen a shock baton. Nice idea  :thumbsup:

Well the Finnish Defence Force has a baton addon (But it donsn't work in MP!! :'()
Shock batton shouldn't be too hard. Would need a new animation though

StrokeFist and StrokeGun (based) weapons don't work in MP when added to a units weapons/magazines section in the cfg. In order for it to work it must be added via script or trigger in the addon or mission editor.

deadmeat once made a riot pack (nogova police force pack), though it doesn't come with
shields, the units have bullet proof vests and other gear. And there's a UAZ with reinforced
windows etc. Pretty neat pack - look for it over @ofp.cz

You weren't kidding when you said it was a great pack. I had a play around with it. I still want my buzz batons and lexan shields though!
