o.pbo problems
« on: 06 Mar 2005, 21:43:36 »
ah yes, the infamous o.pbo. yes, im having a little bloody trouble with the sodding thing.

after going through pointless search results, and a (failed)attempt at cutpbo.exe or whatever, i cannot get o.pbo to show in my WRPEdit directory.

any help would be much appreciated, including how to use cutpbo.exe. (i don't know how to "map" my D:\ or E:\) drives :P

cheers,
Tyger

OK, I might be able to help here.....without using cutpbo.

Working on a copy of O.pbo ........load it into a hex editor and remove the first 46 bytes from it.

Save it and this copy of O.pbo will work with WrpEdit.

However the bind here is swapping this copy and the original when you want to play the game.

I usually just rename them then rename them again afterwards.

Okay, well I assume it worked to a certain extent... whenever i click on a .pac or .paa file it says that there was a stream read error, but all i need is the resistance objects so I think Im good for now....
