Slight problem with patching up my Flashpoint.

HI.

Thanks to a  rathe imbarrising incident involving masses of Spyware on my P.C. (Dunno how it got on there anyway... :-\) I have had to rebott my P.C.

This has mean't that I have had to reinstall everything, including my Copy of OFP + Resi, which goes O.K, until I try to upgrade to 1.96, or any other patch for that matter...

This is the problem I am facing at the moment. The installation of CWC and Resi goes fine, and then I download the patch files to go with it. When they are done I try to install only to be greeted straight away with:

And then this list goes on to say the same throughout my addons folder and some Missions aswell. When this is over and done with it then displays this in the log file.

Reinstall game from original CD disc and try again.
I have tried doing what it says, and re installing Resi and CWC, but I get near enough the same message everytime. Anyone ever had this problem and manage to overcome it?

i repeatly got this error when patching RES up to 1.90+, it kept saying the 0.pbo file was corrupt, i over came this by copying 0.pbo from the RES CD and copying it into the /res/addons folder and like wise copyied all the res missions into the res/missions folder

Try the troubleshooting boards over at the official forums and also the Avon Lady's FAQ.

Having gone through this 3 times its a pain in the arse and I forget the solution every time.

Mine always works if I patch like this...

1.75 = CD
1.85 = online patch
1.90 = online patch
1.91 = online patch
1.96 = online patch


Then no o.pbo errors... :-\  Most of the time....

Or find different 1.96 patches, there are 2 kinds for some reason, try both.

And you should really go to BIS for this in the first place. :-X
