UAV Drone lost...last loc. the INet

Old farts OFP Nerds and people with brains like Johnny Mnemonic..

After a "break" from OFP caused by the fact that the family keeps multiplying, I have now choosen to get back and start concentrating on the first born love of my "sparetime" ... aka OFP. I have been here since the first screenshot - before the very first demo...(all you youngsters may not know it, but that was actually in the later years of the last millenium...ohh boy ) - so I therefore know that I'm not hallucinating when I say that, "SOME TIME" ago I was playing around with an UAV Drone. The problem is that I seem to have lost it. I have searched forums, the Inet and OFP pages like crazy and all I found where links to old things in developement and a bunch of 404's.
I'm 90% shure that what I'm looking for was made by Vladimir, since the pictures popping up looks very familiar, and similar to the interface I used back then.
The only clue I have left is that it was released after Resitance came out, I remeber playing around with the UAV on Nogova.

If anyone has the memory of the location of the file, or maybe another UAV drone, please let me know.

There is a UAV drone in the FDF mod, but I do not think it is accessible unless you open OFP using the FDF mod.  I was also looking for a UAV for use in standard OFP, so if I find it before you I will let you know.  By the way, welcome back to the OFP world (hopefully not to the negelect of family though - as I have done in the past  ;D)

Thanks for your reply, and don't you worry Raptor, i'll be good enough to inform you if i stumble over a usable item.
I wont let the family down. Kids a growing up fast, and they'll go tired pretty early if you keep them active during the day - and the girlfriend too  ;D - which gives me some hours in the evening and late night, to script test and fool around.

Well let's continue the search by laying out some clues here on the site.I did'nt know about the FDF mod but I'll check that out too, but here is the facts that I can find so far.

Thats the best I can come up with right now, besides some 404's on google. If you search here on OFPEC, and make the seach go 1080 days back, you'll be lucky to stumble over some debates of these things too. But never any releases, which makes me wonder where I got the file from in the first place..it might even have been a site that dosnt exist anymore.

I know of two UAV:s currently in OFP:

1 - the one in FDF mod 1.3 as mentioned above

2 - the Vigilant from the Operation Frenchpoint Objects pack

I *think* Vladimir's early work actually ended up being the OFrP Vigilant, but don't quote me on that...

I downed the FDF Objects pack v2 last night a played around with there Vigilant. Allthough it took some hours of research before I found a Readme/COMREF which for some reason is only placed in the Objects v1, with an description of a certain text line that has to be placed in a Description.ext file, to be able to controle the Vigilant, I still managed to get a go on the bird. Besides from a different model it looks pretty much like the interface Vladimir used on the old model. And i must say that the Vigilant fullfills all of my requests to an UAV at the moment, allthough it still needs to be tweeked a little before its completely foolproof.
Still I think that all drones cabaple of flying, sailing or driving is more than welcome in the arsenal of INTEL, since many of the missions to come when ECP 1.075 is released, is gonna take a different way of thinking, and the fact that im very keen on deep recon before rushing in doing some slap around.

I have a little request though, to all the MOD'ers and addon makers. Please in some cases, be so kind to release single vehicles, along with you packs, since it safes me and others a mill. hours, post and requests, to try and figure out how to DePBO and extract addons for our own benefits of saving some HD and MEM space.

The addon you are looking for from Vladimir is the Dragon Warrior UAV, version Beta 04. I have this addon, and have posted some screenshots on the BI Forums about it. Message me and I'll get it sent to you via email or messenger (YM, MSN, AIM, ICQ, etc.)

The max file upload size here is 50kb, and the .zip file including the addon, demo mission, and readme files is 584kb.
