FDF v.1.3 - Does anybody konw??

I'm creating a multiplayer game contaning a few platoons with some portable weapons from FDF (AGS 17 & KONKURS), but the player which is assigned as commander for the platoon cannot pick up the weapons, but other player can. And the most wiered thing is that I tried to make the same platoon on another island where it worked, but when I merged it in my MPGame, the bug showed up again... ??? ???

Any suggestions?

I think that the amount of ammo the unit is already carrying affects the units ability to pick up FDF portable weapons. Have you tried to remove some weapons/magazines (the infamous FDF rucksack for example) from the commander.

Yep! I removed all the handgrenades in order to get some space for the ammo, but nothing helped... :-[

- Before disassembling/deploying it may take few seconds for the deployment script to activate
- The 'gun' part of the weapon takes 1 heavy weapon slot from inventory, so does the tripod part
- Each magazine/missile takes 1 ammo slot from inventory, so drop your unnecessary possessions in   order to carry max amount of ammo
- Only the player who carries the 'Gun' part of the weapon is able to carry the magazines for that weapon
- Due to OFP's ammo handling, deployable weapons cannot be moved while there is ammo in the clip.   Clip or be has to be EMPTY until the system can be moved again.

If you have all those in condition, I don't know.

One thing: make sure you haven't given any conflicting names to the weapons or any objects in the map. The 'merged maps' problem makes me think it could have something to do with a conflict somewhere like a object is named with a reserved word. Like giving a fire name 'fire' and then trying to use the 'fire' action from a script... causes problems. Check object names or better not to name them at all...

I'm allready aware of that ;)
What the player does is he takes the gun part (without kneeling) and then it simply disapears ??? Then he cannot load it on avehicle nor take the bipods/ rest of the weapons...strange!

Maybe you should go to the FDF Mod forums, they might know it.

Hmm... are you trying to take the weapon AND the bipod with the same soldier? I think that isn't possible.
