Sneaking Mission Idea

Yo peeps

I had this idea for a mission where stealth is the key, but it was how to do it and keep the mission interesting.

Basically, I was thinking that I could make it so you can get past...but I was thinking about making the mission interesting by throwing in some times when the enemy finds you.

this is where you guys and galls come in ;D...my idea is that the enemy hears/sees you so he runs away to either get reinforcements or to radio in and relay they've found you.  So anyway, my idea is that the game will target the enemy whos seen you (so that little yellow target box comes round them)...and then you have to kill them before they get a certain distance way...assuming if they get further than say 300 meteres then they have either found reinforcements or have called in via radio.

And if they do get away then it increases the alertness and numbers of guards at the next location you need to go to.  Whereas if you kill them then its carry on as normal...

Ay ideas?  Not sure if I made myself understandable really....

hmm, good idea,  i think that it could easily be made, maby even without a script,

make a trigger around the runner, and make both axis 300.

then set it to not detected and group it to runner.

have a group of enemys in the woods near the next location the player needs to go to, give them a waypoint right on top of there position and another where the player needs to go. synch the trigger and the waypoint(THE ONE NEAR THE ENEMYS IN THE FORREST) together.

then make a trigger covering the whole map and group it to the runner, set it to not present.



then in the activasion field put   "deleteVehicle _x" foreach[units in group hidden in the forrest seperated by commas]

syntax not garenteed. i think that will work.

i see, so when the runner gets the certain distance away (ie leaves the trigger) then the enemies in the frest will move to the new waypoint...

Yes, i can see how you mean...that would save a script indeed!

The Hawk In Nets missions.. One of them was in the MEC finalists pack..
It is a stealth mission, similar kinda idea to Metal Gear Solid..

It's a very well put together mission, almost toping Pingu Shooting.... Almost...
