Different Desert/Middle East Islands

There are some very good desert islands around, such as Al-Maldajah. But what we're really missing (I think) is a representation of a modern Middle Eastern country with at least a couple of large skyscraper towns and a major port. What would be really cool would be something along the lines of Jeddah, where you've got a massive port, a big airport, lots of modern buildings, but also an old town with very traditional buildings.

This would give a very different feel to the more open desert maps, and would be more like the Middle East that I have visited (I go every so often for work and tend to just see the main cities).

I have been trying to be more authentic with my Middle East missions and I too would like to see a island more on these standards. I currently use: MadAussie's Iraq Island; Jelalhabat Island by Umf; and CAT's Central Afghanistan for missions in the middle east.

Just to make the Iraqi Island cooler, I would download AGS City Construction and Industrial Kits to make an authentic Iraqi City. Other addons I use are the Taliban Addon to put some more Mosques and Minerets around the town and some destroyed T-72s and Mi24's as remnants from Operation Desert Storm.  In realism, Iraq wouldn't have too many skyscrapers except in Baghdad and other large cities.

I would like to find some OEF addons to make my Invasion of Iraq authentic. Maybe tons of posters of Saddam and some Baath Party prophaganda. I saw a while back that a team was making a Iraq addons and campaign pack with tons of stuff including Realistic Highway Signs for Saddam International Airport and the city of Baghdad all written in Arabic, Oil Refineries and Pipelines,  Statues of Saddam and Palaces. If anyone knows about this, let us all know.

Some insurgent flags and banners would be nice, too.  Some of the leaflets the terrorists have printed up in Iraq to scare GIs are pretty entertaining.

How about just a nice mid east pack [in instlalments of course]

some really good islands, as said before some with more modern and realistic cities

or like a city slum terrain would be really cool to see in my opinion, then make the downtown a seperate terrain.
