Locked p3d files
« on: 22 Jan 2005, 00:30:00 »
Some p3d files seems to be locked or crypted! How can I avoid that and open the files anyway?

Here we go again... :) Is it possible to open the p3d file and still keep the original texture intact? >When I open it, it's just white (like snowcamo lol)
 :)

The P3D has to be in Z:\OrigFolderName\
For the textures to show up
basicly move the folder you depbo-ed to a root drive (Your fake Z drive or C: or something)
And it will work ;)

I thik the problem is that the ODOL_Explorer looks for the texture automatical in the OFP root. I've seached my harddisk thin for ODOL with no luck. Is there a way to uninstall it, or simply just change its settings?

If this happens, you usually have to re-direct ODOL_Explorer to the folder of previous saved files (with ODOL 2.4).
It happened many times to me, but now it works great!

One last thing: sometimes ODOL doesn't draw all model, because some textures are taken from "Dta" folder, so they're not included in the Addon you're opening.
