How can i Paradrop?

I want to know how i could do a paradrop. When a plane or helicoptor is flying and all the men inside eject. I have seen the computer do this once before on the original OFP. I would like to know how to do this. Would i need a script or is it already in the game? Thank you.

Do you mean yourself ejecting out of a chopper, or do you mean a squad ejecting from a chopper?

If you mean yourself: Press [  or ] and select Eject

If you mean a squad: use my script:

IF you want to eject put


unitname action ["eject",vehicle name]


Put this in a trigger or waypoints Activation field

If you dont use a script and want more than yourself jumping out you will have to put the same line in for as many soldiers as you want to eject,just make sure you put      ;          after each command.

There are many paradropping scripts in the Editors Depot.

The chute itself is created automatically by the "eject" action.

In addition to the eject instruction you also need to unassign each unit from the vehicle using

unassignVehicle unit

If you don't you will find the chopper of whatever you have bailed out from will circle down to the ground
