Resizing Pictures

How Come whenever i try to resize a picture in MS Paint it always cuts half of it off. I relly want a damned pivture for my mission to work! :-X :'(

Well, screw PAINT and use PAINTSHOP instead  8)

It usually comes in a free 30 day trial version in comp. magazines  :)

A sidenote, btw : when resizing a pic in P-Shop, do it like this:

  • Open a pic. - OFP can work with "JPG" types, not bitmap (default in PAINT)
  • click the "IMAGE" button (top)
  • Select "RESIZE" from the drop down menu
  • Then set the PIXEL size
In OFP the best size is 170x64

Here's how it should look in your "overview" file:

You can of course use GIMP freeby downloading it from their site.  As I say its free, and very good if all you want to do is resize pictures.
