Throwing Guns
« on: 16 Jan 2005, 17:01:59 »
I don't think anyone has made this, so I was wondering if anyone could. Here goes:

When you fire your gun it flies out of your hands a couple feet where you have to go pick it up.

From :gunman: to ??? in a second because he lost his gun.

Would that be possible?

Maybe you could make a script that you can throw your gun after its run out of ammo, like stokegun command but, well, throwgun command.

throw your gun after its run out of ammo

That sounds like something I could use and it sounds better than people throwing their guns after they fire

Other than getting hit and being near an explosion, the script seems useless. I don't even really understand it much. :P

But maybe you could remove the weapon and use a place holder to create a weapon just lying on the ground or something. :-\

The script could be used for more relistic deaths. When the person dies their gun goes flying out of their hands.  :gunman:

Wouldn't have noticed you can't spelt if you didn't point it out, only two letters missing. This thread is weird.... taking a random idea and developing it into something that could add to the game... I liked ur idea about deaths merc, i hate seeing guns flying 10cm next to their owner when he's thrown around somewhere.. placeholder would be fine for that.
