problem with model conversion

I have been working on converting several models for a project I am working on with new textures and repacking them in a different pbo than the original name so as not to replace the originals. i have changed everything entry in the config to the new path .. every entry in all the scripts to the new path and changed all the paths to the textures for the model in O2, but now I am having an animation problem .. the axises are all messed up and the models animations do not function correctly. the only thing I can think that might possibly cause this are the .rtm files ( ???as I know nothing about them
) ... anyone have any suggestions??

I did convert the model to a MLOD with ODOL Explorer .. could that have anything to do with it? ... I also notice that some textures on the model that should be hidden are not .. like the blast coming from the machine gun. Please .. someone help!
