getting lip files to work
« on: 03 Jan 2005, 18:11:05 »

hey im making a fat intro but i have a slight problem. i cannot get the lip files that i made with wav2lip to work. the ogg files are in there, and if i type in the script "this playsound "m11" the sound will play, but if i type "player say "m11"

1) no sound comes out

and

2) his lips dont move an inch.

What am i doing wrong, someone have mercy on me, i swear im going to go bald before im 16

Check your file is right, all that stuff about 44100 or whatever it is. Oh, and the file has to be mono.

Is this how you have it in the script?

"player say "m11"

If so you have an extra " mark. Should be...

dude1 say "m11"

Or I'm thinking your .ext is messed up, but your .ogg sounds play so... :-\
