Ok, I'm not sure if this would go under addons but would it be possible for somebody to make an addition to OFP ME so that you can have a Captain let's say, who is in control of squads instead of men. So at the bottom where a squad-leader's men should appear there are squads. And the Captain can direct where the squads go, so that the squad-leaders direct their soldiers much more in depth.
I don't understand the concept of scripting at all so if the only way to that is scripting then please explain it.

Endulge me... please describe what you found there (if you actually looked at all) that isn't what you're looking for?  Also, who is "he" and what exactly is this "it" that "he" will never find?

Ok, what you are looking for is the "Command Engine", a framework for mission makers to enable you to control a large number of squads.

There are example missions on the CoC site and an excellent forum there to ask questions in. Just try harder and you'll find it on the CoC web site linked to above. No pain, no gain.

The missions are under "Battle School" and the template missions and CE2 1.22 editing docs can be found some levels below "Downloads". Good luck!
