Scripting for Generator Building

The AGS buildings addon includes a switchable generator building. I wish to use this to switch the lights on/off in a town. Does anyone know how to script it to detect the lever position  ???
Tried in vain got an artery

I managed it along time ago, but  can't really remember how.  :-\

I think I used a Game Logic. There was a option 'activate AGS lights' and 'disable AGS lights' there. Try that. But then again, I may be thinking of the Bracken addons...

Check the addon's readme... there should be the name of the animation for the lever. In that case, just check the animation phase of that anim. Ugh, I'm tired now, but check the online com ref for the "animation phase" command, you'll get some examples.
