Heli landing help

Somtimes when i order a chopper to drop men off in an area of a jungle map you could easly land in the chopper moves along distance away to an even bigger space a long distance away, is there any easy way to force the pilot to land in a exact postition

Hey-

Put an invisible Heli pad at the exact spot you want the helo to land.  Put the helo's unload waypoint right on top of it.

The helipad's are under "empty / objects" in the editor.

the problem may be deeper in the game engine than that.
If you are trying to make it land on a slope, it's not gonna want to, you can force it through scripting or flyinheight commands, but ai choppers are very finicky, lz has to perfect for them

Choppers are bastards.   Tutes and scripts in the Ed Depot.   Don't bother trying to anything much without one.
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play

I've found the best solution to be snYpir's Quick Chopper Landings scripts (v1.8) in the Ed Depot.  They seem to get the job done 99% of the time for me.
