"Lock" chopper.
« on: 27 Sep 2002, 22:53:55 »
IÂ'm making a MP mission. It start with that the human players must take and hold a "base", untill a chopper comes and rescue them. After the chopper has load up the soldiers, it get shot down by some shilkas :gunman:. I donÂ't want the human players have the chance to parachute, because some how they are going to crash (new mission after the crash) and survive, of course with sevral wounds  :beat: behind enemy lines.

Can you somehow "lock" the chopper so no one can get out of it? Plz help me.

Name the chopper something like chopper1 and try

chopper1 lock true

in the activation field of a trigger or waypoint.   Or in a script somewhere.    Make sure the chopper is unlocked in the first place so that the loons can get into it.

Look at the [un]official command reference for more info.    Whenever I have a problem with and identifiable keyword (like "lock") I always run my eye down the command refs - you quite often find something that will help.

There is a seperate forum for multiplayer missions so this thread will probably get moved when an admin comes along.
