Benchmark???
« on: 15 Nov 2004, 16:32:19 »
I've seen this mentioned and in certain missions in the editor. What does it do? Does it help reduce lag or sumthing??

Cheers

Benchmark is a measure of the speed of a computer.    Fast computers have a high benchmark.    You can use the benchmark command to detect the speed of the computer on which the mission is being played, and make certain things conditional on the computer being within a certain benchmark range.    For example, some eyecandy may appear only if the benchmark is high enough.
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play

I love that thread. ;D

I don't mind being called Armsty. As long as I'm 'officially' dmakatra.
