really easy question:
what units does setvelocity use?
Km/Hr?
m/s?

I don't think OFP has a set system... could be wrong though... If it was I would imagine meters per second.

well if it doesn't have a set system then did BIS make up its own speed vector?

hehe, cm/hr

I thought m/s as well, but it shows you a vehicles speed in Km/hr, so i'm not sure

I beleive that it is KM/hour because a person goes at a speed of 6 which is roughly a human walking speed but it could be M/S easiest way to tell is get a waypoint then get a speed of like 50 and find out if it takes s=distance/speed or if its other which would be KM/hr

speed and velocity are two different things...

If a car is going (in OFP ::) ) about 33.xxxxxx km/h (given by speed) the velocity vector is something like [0.xxxxxx,9.xxxxxx,0.xxxxxx]...
So it is not in km/h...

And some simple maths show that 33 Km/h == 9.166666666666666666666 m/s.

Problem solved?
