need scripting of how to control aircraft

need an aircraft to take or go around and land can it be done with waypoints and some how using something like "this flyinheight 200" make the plane land
please help

The easiest way to make an aircraft land is to use a "GET OUT" waypoint. This will make the pilot land and disembark from the aircraft. Planes will land at the nearest, working airport. Helicopters will chose a place as close to the waypoint as possible, but you can place an invisible H (found under EMPTY-OBJECTS in the editor) if you want to have a more exact landing zone.

Take off from a working airfield is also automatic.     Put the aircraft on the taxiway facing south, with a waypoint mile away.
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play

i can't use the get-out command as its a mod map but i'll keep trying

I assume you mean that there are no working airfields on this mod map, and that the vehicle you want to land is a plane, right?

This is problematic.

Find a smooth surface (a non-working airfield for example), steer the plane towards it on low speed. Get it close to ground using flyInHeight command. When the plane is gliding slowly over the runway you set the fuel level of the plane to zero.

I know this sounds stupid, but if your airplane is a slow one (like the cessna) it might actually work and not result in a crash-and-burn. I tried it myself when I was trying to create an emergency landing in a cutscene. But you need to fiddle a bit (a lot actually) with the speed and altitude of the plane.

To make it start again, you just need to set the fuel level back to number greater than zero.

got some movement working but flyinheight doesn't work very well on fast planes have to do it very far back
