Editing/Adding Water Textures?
« on: 02 Nov 2004, 21:31:53 »

Does anyone know how to edit or add new textures for water?

Now that I have the transparency thing licked, I now need to know how I can edit or add new water textures to a Wrp file.

The water textures are in the Data.pbo.

They are called:

more_anim.01.pac
more_anim.02.pac
more_anim.03.pac
more_anim.04.pac
more_anim.05.pac
more_anim.06.pac
more_anim.07.pac

OK. I found the files. The new problem is that whenever I try to edit them (make them more transparent) and save them as tga files a message comes up saying ".tga files can't handle mulitple layers with transparency", so I merged the layers (there was only one though???) and saved. When I opened it up in TexView everything looked OK and I saved it as a paa/pac file. But when I checked, it was still a .tga file!!

:help: please :help:

If you actually specified the file to be saved as paa/pac then I don't see how it would save it as tga.

Zip it up and post it here and I will look.
