Resistance scripting features and compatability

The command that referes to objects on the map comes in very handy for me at times, but will commands such as...

object 199457 setdammage 1

...still work with past versions of OFP?

Does that command just refer to something internal, or is it actually an addon to the game itself?

If you use that command in your mission, then only people with resistance can play your mission.  It will not work in the original 1985.
