How to salute

I have been looking around to see if I can get an officer that i approch to salute. Tried with a trigger that activated by west would make "Officer1 switchmove "EffectStandSalute" Well it works kinda. He takes he's arm up but its not animated. I looked through the Command References but could not find anything and also when he has been saluting for 4 sec how do I make him take he's arm down again???

Also, try playMove instead of switchmove.  

In the Editors Depot somewhere (tutorials I think) is a little demo mission showing all the switchmoves that ponq and I made.

No, it will just end the salute.

macguba has hit the bullseye again.  Use playmove and the unit will shoulder his weapon, render a snappy salute, and ready his weapon again.
