Multiple helipads
« on: 30 Nov 2004, 20:22:05 »
Hi,
I have five helpads around my map, three at a LZ, and two others about 1km away.

All seemed to be fine until out of the blue, I hit preview and my chopers started to misbehave. one went to the correct helpad and landed properly and the others just landed nearby. Not on the pads provided. When the time came for the helipads 1km away to be used, again, one chopper landed correctly and the other just settled where it felt like.

Any ideas? They are invisible if that helps, although I don't see why it would.

Cheers.

Try putting some more distance between them.

You could have a series of waypoints close together for each heli.  One at flyinheight 50, the next at 45, then 40 .... unitil they each have only one pad to land on.

the ai don't like to fly close to other stuff, and so if you spread out the helipads like dmakatra said it should work
