changing waypoints faster

how can I change to a "MOVE" waypoint from a "SEARCH AND DESTROY" one faster? currently, it can take up to 30 seconds to do, which impacts badly on my mission design.

You could use a switch trigger - or change your design :)

Occasionally, when all else fails, you need to dispense with a waypoint.     Fake one with a gamelogic and move command.

However, I would say that putting a group into S&D is not one of these rare occasions.    S&D is excellent for having loons milling about:  if it matters at all to the mission where they go then don't use it, use a sequence of move waypoints instead - it gives you much better control.

What kind of unit are we talking about here?    Increasing skill might help in reducing the delay.

it's a player waypoint. Upon killing all enemies at the waypoint, a trigger is activated (nexta) which should start the next waypoint (condition: nexta), but it takes forever.

Well I hope these waypoints don't make anything happen, since players in Veteran mode won't see them.

Try synching the move waypoint with the trigger, rather than using a variable.
