Glowing Textures

Hello, I am revamping my old SA80 addon and I have decided to include a glowing red texture to simulate the glowing red tip in the susat at night. Does anybody know how to make textures flourescent. I am trying to simulate the red dot type textures BIS have in their XMS scope view. I am also going to script a new animation for it (later I am making a a mission at the moment) so the soldiers hold it properly. I'll throw in some brand new textures for it too for the barrel canopy and butt to make it less horribly green then it presently is. Any help greatly appreciated

try this
In oxegen select the face you wish to glow
then press "Shift" + "E"
then click shining under the lighting area
click ok
i think this will work, this is probably how bas made the cats eyes on the rangers helmets

Nice one mate. I just got that info off another forum. I have one problem however. Because I binarized my addon and did NOT
keep an unbinarized copy like a complete idiot I can no longer access my weapon in oxygen. I have effectively locked my self out of my own addon!! Anyone know if you can unbinarize it? If not I'll have to build a new model from scratch. But not before I've finished my current mission

You should be able to un-binarize your model with ODOL Explorer.
Not sure exactly where you can get it.....do a google search.

More official info on ODOL Explorer
here
. Bear in mind that some small, but non-trivial data is not yet exportable, please read the bug postings so you don't get suprised.
