It might be an action.   Check the sticky topic at the top of the board:  near the end you'll find an attachment with a list of all known actions.

Or it might be handled like a weapon.

I bet it's a weapon. Try something like

loon1 fire (primaryweapon loon1)
or
loon1 dofire (primaryweapon loon1)

or maybe the AI just won't honk the horn because it knows it can't hurt anyone with it.. just like the AI won't fire an Abrams with their AK's.  ???

I believe the following is the correct syntax for fire, and it shows the three horn "weapons" listed in the Command Reference v1.85:

soldierOne fire "CarHorn"
soldierOne fire "TruckHorn"
soldierOne fire "SportsCarHorn"
El Cojon: "Do you like to Tango?"
You: "Only in Bagango."
Download Last Tango in Bagango and discover how El Cojon earned his name...

using the fire command you need the structure,

unit fire ["muzzle","ammo"]

eg.

man fire ["Throw","Handgrenade"]

No you don't.  ;D    There are two versions of the fire command.

Thanks everybody for trying to help.  But don't stop now, cause I still didn't get  it.  I searched through the "ACTION" sticky.  I also searched official forum.  Gotta be some way to do this.  Come on, guys and gals, help!!
Thanks again,
Ken
BTW, I tried all the commands you guys gave me two different ways w/radio triggers.
One: Civilan veh name car1
Two: Empty veh with assigned driver named g2
So far, nothing has worked.  Has anyone seen any missions where ai tooted their horn?
I really appreciate all the responses.

Haven't seen any. If you find this undoable in the "real" way, you can always attach a custom sound to the car and create the effect of AI hinking the horn.
