Author Topic: ENGINEERS IN BAS DELTA/RANGERS? (Read 1214 times)

I'm using BAS'es DELTA & RANGERS alot (v1.55) - just love those units - but there is one thing I'm missing, and that is Engineers (ability to DEACTIVATE mines..)

Anyone know if this IS possible (Think I've tried them all) with one of these units? If not, would it be difficult to make one (based on same units) myself?

PS! Had SOME experience (VERY little) doing some minor adjustments to addons.

Also how about more than just deactivating mines. Combat engineers do way mor than that. Have differnt load outs for them: Mines, stachel chargers, claymores, other stuff. Special scripts like cutting the power to a town, deactivating a bomb, hot wiring a car. Than would be cool

All you have to do is insert this line in a unit's config:

canDeactivateMines=true;

I don't think Rangers actually have combat engineers IRL, though. But no matter

General Barron; Hehe, well, we'll just have to make believe then! It's a special training program just for our company - or what ever! We REALLY need this guy, so get off my back! ;D

Hehe...I used Rangers as regular army for a long time ;D
