I like helping people with the OFP editor but IÂ'm not a pro. So you guys that needs help with a pretty easy thing, write here .

Or they could make a new thread and you could answer them there.  Its just so much easier.

Yeh but if everyone was to start posting "how do i start a fire" or "how can i make a soldier put his weapon on his back" then the forum would get awfully cluttered up.

Most people don't use the search function, but they might have a look in here to see if the Q has been answered, and they'd learn a lot of the basics too!

Lets just see what the mods think...

The whole point of the Editors Depot, and the conception of OFPEC-MK2 is that people DO search the forums, search the Eds Depot, and then post if they cant find an answer.  While its a nice idea you have Gameer, its counter-productive to the whole of Mk2.

In an ideal world, they would search the forums, but they don't. Plain and simple.

Just look around the forums. People keep posting the same thing, over and over. "How do i make my own resource?", "How do i make a unit put his hands behind his head?".

They just don't bother.  

And its gameer, not gamer  ;D

And I made that exact same argument before all of this was changed.  And you know what?  It still changed.

As neither of you have access to site statistics, I don't see how you, Icarus, can claim that people aren't going to, or argue that people wont use, the Editors Depot, when it's the most popular part of the site, as far as our statistics go.
