Making Tracers that arn't fired from a weapon

hey

I'm making a mission called Day of Days, it's basicly finished I just need tracer rounds to be shot into the air, just imagine the Band of Brothers episode, "Day of Days"  ::)  :P where the tracers are firing into the air as the paras jump from the C47s, but I don't want them to be fired out of a weapon... if you know what I mean, I just want them to be created, fired up and then dissapear...

This has proberly been asked before but I didn't manage to find a topic on it or a script in the depot, there proberly is one but I may not have looked hard enough...

If anyone can help I'd be very gratefull

I think Grendel made a script like that.... search for posts by him.
