Explosion Shock

It wud be quite nice to see whenever ur near an explosion, ur sight wud go blurred or the screen wud shake for a second. Cos i doubt u wud be able to see or even hear properly if u were reasonably close to an explosion. Kinda like in Call Of Duty when a shell lands near u, well thats if u have played it. (damn u if u havent  >:(  )

You could slow down the time and add some other noises but I dont think you can make it blurry. BTW, CoD is a cool game. :P

It'd be cool, just gotta get someone to script it. The MARPAt marines had the same kind of system. Like if a grenade exploded near you your sight when black and stuff... I think... :P

Yeah, you could do something with the RscCut (Ish)
And transparent TGA files (Can they be used for that? Almost 100% sure they can be)
Could fake a blurryness thing

The ECP has an effect similar to that. The screen goes white, and you get this painfull ringing sound when you are near an explosion.

yes, a transparent blurry picture is possible, but you will see it in 3th person too and that's a bit weird...

You can see the NV Goggles in 3rd person too ::)
The biggest problem with the ECP is that missions can run with out it just as easily..
They need to include an object that you can place out the way, that when you try to run the mission without the ECP, it gives a "Mission add : ECP" type error ;)

The ECP is designed specifically so that missions don't require it. Its purpose is to enhance existing missions/campaigns with minimal or no mission editing required.  ;)

Yeah, but, say a mission designer needs (Well wants) the ECP to be used, there should be a tiny non-functioning (Like a gamelogic) that will make the missing addon thing show up for the ECP
It's not nessisary, but would be a nice feature for the mission makers..
Hmm, and if that was implemened, it isn't to hard to make up a simple addon with the classname, say, ECP_needed
If you despratly didn't want to use the ECP

The ECP being able to enhance mission is good for the BIS missions, and others that were made before the ECP was released.. Which is good

Anyway, say your making a D-Day mission, and a lot of arilery smashing around you, you want the shell shocked stuff to happen.. Because lets face it, artilary just going *bang* aroundyou isn't that bad.. But if ECP is need it would be a gd idea..

Meh, I dunno :P

ECP effects works only for grenades. But explosion shock would need to shell or heat impact too. Unfortunatlety as I now these "ammos" too fast to detect exactly where they hit the ground. Therefore we don't know the real position.
