Greets all.
We have (our unit) downloaded and are using a Invasion 1944 mod, its great. I build the missions for the clan and ive run into 2 probs neither serious and im sure  easily fixed.
1st   does anyone know of a, weapons ref for ww2 weaps i can use, at moment  i cant have custom units or weapons crates.
the othere prob is baffling me as i have done it befor i think but i cant seem get it to work. I am ussing a Higgins boat  addon, i need the boat to ferry a squad to a beach drop them off. Now normally thats as easy as  a transport unload waypoint for the boat sinc it to a move waypoint for the squad, and this actually works, IF i use a boat thats selected from the WEST units, But  if i select the Boat from Empty provide it a driver ( ive tried civilian, and East drivers) give them the Transport Unload WP an sinc it to the squads move WP the squad wont get out of the boat. There is a reason i want to use the Empty boats.
Any ideas?..

Hey NoMaD!

To answer your first question, yes, I do have an I44 WWII weapons list but it is on my PC at work. I will post it tomorrow if you have not found one by then.  Check the WWII sites as someone on those forums should have one handy.

For your second question, try the leaveVehicle command in a "Move" WP close to where you want them to disembark. Just put this in the "On Activation" line of the WP:

Nope that doesnt work either.  I tried, putting this in the Activation of a Move WP   gw1 leaveVehicle b1;  .  gw1 being the units groupname( gw1= group this), b1 being the boats name.  I also tried that with boats move/ transport unload WP and Squads move WP both Sincronised and not sinc. Still the squad stays in boat. This is only when i use the boat from the EMPTY slot in editor, if i use the Boat from the West selection  it works fine. shrug.
Yes please post the weaps list.

Sos NoMad I don't have the Inv44 weapon list... :-\

But for getting the troops out of the higgens instead of syncing a transport unload with a "move" waypoint, try it with a "get out" waypoint, that's what I usually do and it normally works.  :)

Sorry that did not work for you Nomad. It works for me but with a crewed higgens, not an empty one. I have used this command with other empty boats so I assumed that it would work with the higgens.  :(

Well, at least I can help you with this I44 unit list. I was originally looking for the unit list from I44 but this had the weapons listed also. The names do not appear correct but here you go anyway. You can always use Azraell's trick to find out the weapon any particular unit fires  by reading this:

Ahhh thanks alot everyone.
Fixed the unload prob,  with the Empty higgins, i HAD to make the Squad leader the Driver, then the Get out WP worked so did other ways,  it was putting the Leader as Driver that seem to fix it.

how do you get the higgins boat to drive in a STRAIGHT line. IÂ've got a group in the cargo, and the group leader as the driver

Bah  i think AI driving was modeled on a woman driver, impossible to tell where theyre going or how they will get there.  I have mine on WPs to a beach and they will like beach anything upto 100m away, sigh. At times they sit offshore and the units drown as the get out, altho that adds a touch of reality as alot of soldiers did drown... unfortunately.
