Hey. I'm a new member to this site and am getting to know things.
To tell you about me, I'm 14 and a pretty good mission maker and that's all I know; mission making and a few very basic scripts ie;  This inflame true,   blah blah.

I really REALLY REALLY want to learn more scripts and how to use them and stuff. If anyone could help me PLEASE help. Then I could get into making better mission for this site.

Thxs.

Welcome to OFPEC O Neil  :)

Be sure to grab yourself a copy of the command reference - it's the scripter bible  :)

That's the way I'm doing it.

1. Think about what you want to do in the mission. What will happen?
2. Look for other scripts on the net that fit your ideas (or come near your ideas)
3. Try to change those scripts so that they match your ideas

While at step 3 consult the misc manuals and the official command reference

4. Use the community here and there. Most people are very helpful

Welcome to the forums, O Neil

A few things you might find useful:
Read up on those when you are after a specific command, and throw any specific questions you have through the Editing FAQ. If you still dont' have an answer, throw them up on the forums and you probably soon will ;)
