How do you edit normal campaign maps?
« on: 29 Jul 2004, 19:55:06 »
I want to add some new units/weapons to some of the single-mission maps that came with the game (I have version 1.45), but can't figure out how.  How do you load them in the editor?

You need to unpbo the mission file found in the Operation Flashpoint/missions folder using a decryptor e.g UnPBO

Then put the unPBO'd mission into Operation Flashpoint/Users/=Your Name=/missions

Then open it in the editor, add the vehicles etc.

Then Re PBO it using an encryptor e.g MakePBO and put it back in the original folder..

easy stuff  ;)

I dont have the links for UnPBO and MakePBO but they are on here somewhere.  I would read some tutorials first too on using the editor and how to UnPBO etc etc.

Welcome to the slippery slope of mission editing!!

Use Amalfi's unpbo 1.5 from the Editors Depot.
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play

www.ofp.info
Select your language, and find in the right side nav. bar.. Utilites
And in that list somewhere (Might be on the 2nd/3rd page) DePBO and MakePBO
