Object map id
« on: 20 Sep 2004, 01:15:43 »
Are there any available maps which show the IDs of objects for the BIS Islands.?

Like lights, doors etc.

I'd like maybe a .jpg with a reference. Maybe there's something better out there.

I hope you know what I'm on about.

Cheers.

You sure you want that? That's anywhere from ~150,000 to ~350,000 objects per island. The best solution is select "Advanced" mode, then "show object ID's", and zoom in.

Doh!

You know I've been doing this for well over a year now and I never noticed that tab there.

How would I switch a light off?

Is it summit like 112352 switchlight off?

Comref says...

Code: [Select]
nearestObject [player, "StreetLamp"] switchLight "Off"

Where "StreetLamp" = the name of the object as found in CfgVehicles.
