Hey guys,

don't you think it would be cool to make the Pearl Harbor Island for OFP. Then we could make really good mission:
1. Based on true events ( Pearl Harbor)
2. Based on the "what would happen if?"

Since it's already an island, the shape shouldn't be a problem like in the European islands ( Normandy, Ardennes, etc)

What do you think?
What would be the problems encountered?
And finally, do you know someone who would be willing to give some attention, and create this island?

If you did the whole island, that would be about 66km point to point E-W. That would require a (unusable) 102km map. Your better option would be to just make the greater Pearl harbor area (25km) and either superimpose that on 52km of water, or make the area between the two mountain ranges, which wouldn't leave you with much sea space. This all presumes 1:1 scale though.

what about making it a little smaller, so the player has this feel, thats its an accurate size, like 1:0.75, or somethin like that?
