how do i make a Cars Tires Flat?

could some body tell me how?

I remember somebody asked this before.

AFAIK Setdammage it little is no solution.

Somebody came up with the idea to create a little mine addon that creates a very small explosion at tires position, but I don't know he finished it.

im makeinh a Car block in my mission when you drive into it u loose the tires how do i script that?

Maybe a setDamage function would do the trick?

Code: [Select]
private["_dmg","_void"];
_dmg = damage _this;

while "canMove _car"
  do {_this setDamage _dmg+.1};

_void;

then you call this from a trigger that is shaped/sized and placed on the car block:
condition: carName in thisList
on act.:  carName call loadFile "flat.sqf"

Of course, no guarantees...
Just drew it out of my 'hat' so it may work, or may not... :P

I don't think there is any way of damaging the tyres specifically.   However if you experiment you can might a level of setdammage that allows the car to move but only slowly or roughly.

There is actually a flat tyre script in the editors depot by Abuu. However, it's old and based on a shell being blown under the car, so it might not be what you're looking for.
I'd say your best option would be to go with what HateR_Kint had to offer.

If you want to look up Abuu's flat tyre script, just do a quick search with keywords 'flat tyre'.
