Hill + Tank = A Very Angry Young Individual

Okay. This is becoming a real pain in the ass/arse/donkey. Think of it as a bad mix of drinks. Well similarly hills and tanks don't seem to mix too well. I put an AI based tank on a not too steep hill and the bastard slides a little before charging down the hill. How can I stop this? I know I can chock it up with a few items but I need to move around the hill with relative ease. Also is there anyway I can force a tank up a hill?

Honestly, magic, yer loosing it now, mansey!  ::) would it be realistic to
see a tank almost "flying" up the hillside as if it were running on LSD  ??? ;D

Off course you could reinstall OFP and only install up to v_1.20  :D  ( ::) )
as the tanks were sliding upwards back then.  ;D

Besides from this, I don't think you can do much about it, m8  :-\

PS.  

 ??? To my knowledge, the AI should auto-find & use the nearest route by default?!
i.e. you tell a tank to cross a hill (with a WP) ; now, if ya put the WP
on the hardest possible route over the hill, the AI tank will ingore the
WP-line and use the nearest poss. way "around" the hill.

@ Tomb - he do it somtimes - but must of da times it just try 2 climb da hill  :) - nywayz no tanks runs on LSD  :P but i think dey geet danish beer somtimes  :P  ;D

Magic, you lil' warp rat  :D listen up!

Try & remove all the fuel (slide the bar, slide the bar, man) and then
"MyTank setfuel 1" the dayum thingt when he's supposed to start driving again;
this might help to make him stay there for a while  :-*

Try it for size, m8

Tomb. I'm light years ahead of you. Already tried that to no avail. Bah! As for waypoints, well see I have me a nice little castle fortress upon the hill which is surrounded by a valley (down the ally, with my 9 milli - Nas). So as you can imagine, if AI automatically finds the route of best fit he goes about 10 km down the left, turns, makes his way 10 km up, turns, then comes down the hill and ends up behind the fortress rather than my desired "infront" of the fortress.
HELP ME PLEASE!
