OK I'm an idiot

I have read alot of good things about this game and finally decided to buy it.  I have read some tutorials, but cannot for the life of me "get it".  I am just trying to activate a unit addon that I downloaded.  What do I do?

It there a file that I need to modify or do I need to create a new file to tell the game to look for the addon???

Please help me I am stupid.....

Just like me when I started in ofp
Anyway, the file prob will be in a .zip or a .rar file
If so, get winrar (www.winrar.com I think)
Then rightclick on the file, and click "extract to zipname/"
Open up that folder, find the .pbo files
And select them, and then rightclick -> Cut

Goto your Op flashpoint folder, and open the Addons directory
Then right click somewhere in the white bit, and click paste

Then basicly you load up the game, go into the mission editor menu option, select an island (Say, desert island), and then double click somewhere, find your new unit (What is the addon? It will probobly be under the west side)
Then click okay
And Preview

Thats your new unit in game

The addon you downloaded is probably in zip form.

Unzip it and you will have between 1 and a few files.

The important files here are the pbo file and the readme.

Read the readme..........and in most cases the pbo goes in the OFP Addons folder........just copy paste it..........then start the game.

EDIT..........What the guy above me said...I forgot about rars.

Yup They're good units..
Also, look for the INQ Weapon pack, they're pretty good units, and excelent weapons ;D
