My addons make the game crash!

Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if you can remember me, but for around 6 months I left OFPEC because I have been so busy, and forgot about OFP after the site closed down. I recently installed GOTY 1.96 on my new PC and I have been having addon problems. I have managed to sucessfully add most of the BAS addons, and a few others, but it seems to have reached a limit. When I now add any new addon, not matter what it is, the game fails to run, and usually ends up with a black screen I can only escape by reseting. The game won't work again until I remove the addon.

I remember that there was an old error I used to have called something like: No memory left blah blah blah, and I reached the addon limit. No such message here, just a crashed game?

Can anyone help? You were all great last time, and I'll try and add something to the community. (I'm currently working on a mission, just to send to you guys  )

Try adding the -nomap switch to your shortcut icon.

Right click the shortcut icon and choose Properties.

On the Shortcut Tab.......in the Target field there will be the path to the flashpointresistance.exe.

On the end of this add one space and then -nomap

For example the path on my computer is:

C:\Games\OperationFlashpoint\FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE -nomap

Hope that sorts you out.
