Tree tutorials
« on: 04 Jul 2004, 10:30:19 »
I'm quite expirienced addonmaker ;) (modeling, texturing, cpp, wrp, simple sqs) Now I'm making an island, and I'd like to make trees there (palm), so I need a modeling tutorial for a tree (to know how to set the detail LODs right)  :-\

The question is, does anyone know where to find a tree tutorial ??? (I once saw one, but couldn't find it again :( )

Just have a look at some MLOD tree .P3d's to see how they were made.

Unfortunately I have never seen a tree tutorial, so I can't help there.

Most plants are not configged...

You can set them up with named properties in the GeoLOD...

Check out some of your reference models for that
