BIS addons
« on: 30 Jun 2004, 18:52:41 »
Hello, I've been reading some tutes over the years in Oxygen editing and have been able to create some small stuff like cars and all that. However, I want to see how BIS made their models but when I DePBO the Data3d and the Data files and I try to open em up it says "Unable to Load File. Load Error".
Also, most of em models names are in czech which can be quite a mess when trying to find, for example, an east soldier or something. Has anyone made a list of all the p3d files and what they are? Where can I find them?
Anyway, cheers for any reply!

You can download some of the official OFP models here, thanks to BIS ftp://www.flashpoint1985.com/breathe/BISModels.zip

There is also ODOL_Explorer, if you want to look at Binarized addons:

http://flashpoint.nekromantix.com/downloads/ODOL_Explorer_v2.0.rar

Despite the controversy surrounding it, IMHO this is invaluable for learning about addons.

i made a litle list of soldier models

if you do turn a olod soldier into mlod you might have some problems where the animations are all screwed up and you will have to define every single part all over again
