There are many things which happen in the game that can't be monitored or controlled by mission editing commands.  In that sense the mission editing functionality is incomplete.

For example, there is a command handsHit which checks if a unit's hands/arms have been hit and therefore if he suffers from inaccurate aiming, but there is no equivalent command legsHit.   Sadly.

AFAIK 'canstand' checks if unit is able to stand. Not if he is standing or laying at the moment. :-\

Yeah, like if you crashes a car, you go automaticly go prone, and you cant stand up..
It checks that
Just like canmove for cars..
Only idea I can think of, it camcreate a really weak bullet, at height 1, 3 and 5 or something
And if it hits the unit at 5, he's standing, if not, make the lower one, and it hits, he's crouched, and it that does it, make the lowest one, and if that does it.. Uhh.. :P

It's not ideal, though (Never tested it, btw)

Thats a great idea! But instead of a bullet, use a GL and check the distance. I'm gonna try this out now! Will be back with a script in a while.
