Keep size of texture box in O2?
« on: 04 Jun 2004, 12:19:40 »
Hi!

I have a question about texturing in O2.

Is there a way of keeping the aspects of a texture box so you can close O2 and start it again without having to draw a new texture box and make it the correct size again? Like apply it to that texture or something. Because if I can keep it the exact same size always I can easily take measurements by print screening the work area and paste it as a new transparent layer in Photoshop.

Hope I was clear enough. Thx, yer the best  :)

Right, I'll go though this from the start :
Load the texture, and drag it out, and sort the aspect ratio
Then, zoom in to each corner in turn, and put a point.. Make sure they're all selected, and press F6

Now, go into to texture mode (a), and hit background mapping or what every it is (b)

Now, you can work as normally.. Then when you next open op O2 and your model

Select the box around where the texture should be.. Now into texture mode, and right click, and click Background From Face

It should load up exactly where it was when you pressed B :D

It took me ages to notice that button ::)
