Filters and Black & White cutscenes
« on: 29 Apr 2004, 14:01:41 »
iwas just wondering if anyone had experimented with trying to simulate a filter or black & white in their cutscenes because i think it would add a lot to atmosphere. anyway, as one can't simply say

_cam camaddfilter "midnightblue"

i was wondering if there was a command like

setRGB [.45,.8,.1]

to give the screen a greeny tinge.

if anyone suggests that i use nightvision cam i'm going to shoot them.

cheers,

A-Bomb

I believe you can make semi-transparent picture overlays to put on the screen... so you could make a large green/red/whatever square, and make it semi-transparent, and you might get close to a 'filter' effect. I've thought about trying this before, but never got around to it, so I don't know if it works well or not. Check here for info on how to get a picture in OFP:
