[l.o.l...needs help]

I wanted to ask a stupid question: When i download an island,in it is the real island's .pbo file ;AND the files "mission.sqm" and the "intro.sqs". For what are THEY?
Another question:  Where's the island's animation file?
Because in the ofp,when you enter any mission editor map and then quit of the mission editor,you come back to the main menu,and there comes out cutscenes of a map which you chosen in the editor's menu. For example if you were in eden,the animations of eden comes out.
And when in the editor you choose a downloaded map and quit from it,no map animations are showing up in the main menu,just standing  SEA!

Maybe the intro.sqs and the mission.sqm files are the animations?  If yes,then where to put them?

You put the anim folder in your Addons folder (It must be here).

I've tried to put the anim to my ofp\res\addons folder,but nothing happens,and there's no other folder,like "addons" on my ofp.                        Stupid situation.

But maybe you know how do i update my 1.85 ver to 1.91? Cause when i try to upgrade it,errors come when vertifying my ofp:r patch 1.85:

Reinstall game from original CD disc and try again.

And i can not update it because of this shit. Do you know what's that???

1. Scan for viruses
2. Run Scandisk
3. Do a disk defragmentation
4. Make sure your drivers are up to date

If this doesn't work, try completely uninstalling OFP, then reinstalling and upgrading straight to 1.96 (Don't mess around with old updates, you can go directly from 1.75 to 1.96) .

Oh,fuck the defragment,hard is very good,and windows-just installed.        i've tried scandisc and antivirus scan,but no finds.     You know,i have two ofp:resistance cd's. One is with ofp ver 1.75 and the other-with 1.85,but in both of them finds errors. If i try deleting those files,  in which finds errors,then it says "The file"vulcan.pbo" is missing,and so on. INSANE.

I've tryed installing both vers-1.75 and then installing 1.96; installing the cd with 1.85 and updating it just to 1.85,or 1.90,or 1.91-it does not matter.

Maybe the cd is fuck. Do you have the original ver of ofp? Maybe that's the problem,cause my first ofp is with no cd key needed-you can type any cd key,like 1111111111111 or 5451fsfssf4sf44sf; it does not matter,             and in the ofp:r it requires the only cd-key,but if i type some shit cd-key in the first instalation,and type good cd-key in the 2-nd one,ofp doesn't run,

I have to type 2 exact codes,that they make a connection.

Maybe my cd's are hacked,not original,cause i didn't pay for them 50$-just about 5$.

Maybe I should add the *real* first rule in Troubleshooting: Make sure you're using a legitimate version.

At the very least, your original OFP CD is definitely an illegal copy.
You need to find and buy an original, which are cheap enough these days (look for the Game of the Year pack).

In the meantime, as we do not allow discussion or support of illegal copies, I'm locking this thread.
