New vietnam maps...ideas?

I'm in map making mode and was wondering if it would be worthwhile for me to build more vietnam maps?

I was thinking about the following:

khe sanh area

the bra (cambodia)

fish hook

parrots beak

anyhow let me know what you think. I'm trying to find interesting areas both topograhically and historically for that region.

Ohh yeah has this be done before? It's a valley where this sniper, Kugler I think was trying to clear out NVA and VC. It was the Co Bi-Than Tan Valley. Well it was in the book....

The ashua valley is the map I'm just finishing now that thread is the early beta releases for that map. I'm looking at making more, so I'm just canvasing to see what ofp nam players are looking for next.

the addons are lacking currently but look into the MACV-SOG missions they are special op missions from vietnam most are still classified but there are a couple books out that show pics and stuff one is by john plaster(wrote the ultimate sniper book) and it talks about different firebases and stuff

your a mind reader, I'm looking at doing the AO's for the SOG after reading plasters'  SOG book (Lots of interesting stuff). I've got the topos of the laos and cambodia AOs. But I would like to build some maps for the AOs for the main line units aswell.

make a claymore you can run along side a truck with and toss it in(its in that book)

yeah that was some pretty crazy stuff they pulled.  You said you saw a site building the khe sanh AO, I don't suppose  you could send me the site?  

I've also checked the topo on the Co Bi-Than Tan valley. It looks like an interesting valley system that could create some good missions.  

Keep the ideas coming I'll be starting the new map/s in a couple of weeks.
