how can I detect whether a unit,vehicle is in the water?  Not for some weird sensor but in case a player accidently falls/drives in the water it will setpos him elsewhere.  I have tried getpos select 2<0 but sometimes it becomes true even when not in the water.  Also tried !canmove and it is also not quite right.

Hmm... Have a look at the code for the CoC Swimmers :)
They wait until the person is under water, and make a vehicle underneath them..
The code is deffinitly there :)
