onloadoutro and OnLoadOutroTime
« on: 20 Apr 2004, 12:40:36 »
Is it possible to have "different words" and time in the intro and in the outro (I saw that the words and time I put in the outro ("win" or "loose") are the same in the outro) ? I searched in the forums for things like "onloadoutro" and "OnLoadOutroTime", but I didn't find anything... :-\

Help me please  :) !

If you have a hard time with those, why don't you scratch them and make your own with cutText or titleText...

in desc...ext:
onLoadIntro="";
onLoadIntroTime=false;

Then use triggers or scripts to run cutText (or titleText) in appropriate places...

Quite...

I was just going with the hunch that you were using script(s) to run your cut scenes...  :P

So if you are, you just set the description.ext like I told in the previous post 'o mine, then, in the intro/outro script begin the cutscene with black/fade to black and use the cutText or titleText to 'print' your own texts on the screen...
When you set the onLoadIntro="" and onLoadIntroTime=false there's no text in the screen when the intro starts... Unless you 'make' yer own...

You can find the explanations on those 'commands' in the Comref (in the Ed Depot, I'm too lazy to quote or craft a link here...  :P )

If you're not using scripts, the same thing still applies, just use those cutText and titleText 'commands' in triggers which are activated when needed...
